Construction of rural road in Saling Township completed 50%

With the aim of ensuring swift flow of commodity and saving time and money, a rural road has been implemented since October 7 this year in Phaunglin, Ngwedaung and Makyibin Villages in Saling Township, Magway Region and now, all the projects have been completed 50 percent, according to an official from the Township Department of Rural Development.
An earthen road measuring two miles and six furlongs in length, 12 ft. in width and nine inches in thickness is being constructed by Tawwintun Company with Ks. 62.9 million allotted by regional government.
Once completed, it will benefit 1650 acres of farmland of 3436 local people in the village, according to an official from the Township Department of Rural Development.—Township IPRD
