Police eradicate 67 acres of poppy plantations in southern Shan State

Authorities destroyed 67 acres of blooming poppies in Banhin village tract in Namhsan Township, Shan State (South).

A combined team comprising police members, the Tatmadaw members and locals destroyed 67 acres of poppy plants from December 16 to 27, according to the Township Administration Department.—Thura Aung(IPRD)
