Construction of rural road in Pwintbyu Township completed 100%

With the aim of ensuring swift flow of commodity and saving time and money, a rural road has been implemented since September 9 last year in Hnawkyin Village in Pwintbyu Township, Magway Region and now, it was completed 100 percent.
On January 20, officials from the Township Department of Rural Development inspected the road. During the inspection tour, officials met with members of the Construction Company and stressed the importance of quality construction and maintenance.
The gravel type rural road measuring 4000 ft. in length, 12 ft. in width and six inches in thickness was constructed with Ks. 10 million of DRD’s allocated funds in 2022-2023 FY.
Once completed, it will benefit 705 people from 170 households in the village, helping them transport rural products to the markets in a timely manner, according to an official from the Township Department of Rural Development.—Hlaing Win Lay(Pwintbyu)
