Officials inspect completion of concrete road in Mong Ye Twsp.

Officials from the Township Department of Rural Development inspected the completion of concrete road in Naunglon Village in Mong Ye Township, Shan State (North) this morning.

On the occasion, officials led by Deputy Director-General from head office of Department of Rural Development met with members of village development Committee and gave necessary instructions.

The concrete road measuring 600 ft. in length, 12 ft. in width and six inches in thickness was constructed with Ks. 12.5 million including Ks. 10 million of DRD’s funds in 2022-2023 fiscal year and Ks. 2.5 million contributed by local people. 

Construction of the road began the first week of December last year and now it has been completed 100 percent, according to an official from the Township DRD.—Kyaw Soe
