As part of efforts to contain the spread of COVID-19 pandemic, students aged five to 12 were given their booster dose of COVID-19 vaccine at No.(6) post B.E.P.S. in the town of Hlaingbwe, Kayin State this morning.
On the occasion, medical workers from the Township Department of Public Health gave COVID-19 vaccine to 219 students from basic education schools in the town of Hlaingbwe.
First, medical workers and volunteers monitored the body temperature and blood pressure of the students before administering the vaccine to them and watched them for 30 minutes after giving the vaccine in line with COVID-19 health rules.—Saw Di(IPRD)
