Legal action to be taken against gold price manipulators: YGEA
Yangon Region Gold Entrepreneurs Association (YGEA) announced that departments concerned are investigating the cases of speculation in gold and action will be taken against dishonest speculators.
The actual gold price is below K2,700,000 in the gold market on 12 January but traders in the unauthorized market are manipulating the gold price up and down by spreading various rumours, YGEA stated.
YGEA also requested price manipulators not to spread rumours and not to manipulate the gold price as authorities concerned will take action against those who commit price manipulation. — TWA/MKKS
