Loans disbursed to implement emerald green projects in Pantamaw Twsp.

Pantanaw, 11 January

With the aim of boosting the income of rural people and their socio-economic status, loans for implementation of emerald green projects were disbursed to members of village emerald green project committee in Kyuntawsu Village in Pantanaw Township, Ayeyarwady Region this morning. The disbursement of loan is the first of its kind in the village.

On the occasion, an official from the Township Department of Rural Development clarified the purposes of the project and explained rules and regulations of the emerald green projects to be abode by members of village emerald green project committee.

Afterwards, an official handed over a total of Ks. 29.4 million to 90 members of village emerald green project committee in the village.—Nyein Thu(DRD)
