Students aged five to 12 received booster dose of COVID-19 vaccine in Leiktho

 

Leiktho, 12 January

Students aged five to 12 were given their booster dose of COVID-19 vaccine at the B.E.H.S. in the town of Leiktho, Thandaunggyi Township of Kayin State yesterday.

During the event, medical workers from the Town station hospital monitored the body temperature and blood pressure of the students before administering the vaccine to them and watched them for 30 minutes after giving the vaccine in line with COVID-19 health guidelines.

The Town Administrator U Saw Myat Kyaw and members, teachers and  volunteers participated in the vaccination campaign and provided necessary assistance to healthcare workers.—Khin Lay New(Leiktho)
