In his response to the reports, the Senior General said the Mawtinsun pagoda is a historic pagoda and it should conduct maintenance and renovation processes to ensure stability in such a manner that would not affect its originality. It should also record the work processes systematically. It needs to estimate the natural disaster and focus on the pleasant and decent things of the pagoda. Then, the Senior General and party observed the displayed record photos of pagoda renovation work in different eras, pagoda platform expansion, maintenance and scale models.
