SAC member, Union Minister overview development activities in Sagaing Region

State Administration Coun­cil member U Maung Ko and Union Minister for Coopera­tives and Rural Development U Hla Moe yesterday met with departmental personnel at the Rural Road Development De­partment in Monywa, Sagaing Region.

The SAC member said that those staff members have to successfully implement the market economy and study the techniques of other for­eign countries in agricultural and livestock farms. He also called for high enhancement of socio-economic life of rural peo­ple, and successful operation of MSME businesses based on agriculture and livestock farms.

Further, the Union Minister said that employees have to pro­duce quality hybrid species for seeking the livestock market. It is necessary to conduct the val­ue-added production manufac­turing courses using domestic raw materials. He also pointed out rural water supply, lighting, street and bridge development works must be completed on time with quality according to the fiscal year, and establish­ment of smart villages.

Further, officials of the de­partments explained the work­ing processes and their needs were fulfilled. — MNA/KZL
