MoI Union Minister inspects preparations for film academy awards presentation ceremony

Union Minister for Information U Maung Maung Ohn, in his capacity as Chairman of the Organizing Committee on Myanmar Motion Picture Academy Award Event, inspected the preparations for the event at an open-air theatre near Nay Pyi Taw City Hall together with Deputy Minister U Ye Tint and officials yesterday.

 

At the briefing hall, the officials reported on the stage construction, selected singers and songs, LED installation, dates to receive materials for the sound system, rehearsal programmes, practices session of Shwegyo (award bearer), invitation and reception processes and other ongoing work programmes.

 

Then, the Union minister and party inspected the stage construction, 3D Projection Mapping system for the opening ceremony, LED signboards, entertainment stage, Red Carpet site, seating plans and air-conditioners, media zone, and the proper location for lighting fireworks and entrance.

 

The Union minister also instructed the need to complete the work plans in time, prepare to be perfect in sound and lighting systems, and estimate the weather condition, transport and accommodation.

 

The film academy awards presentation ceremony for 2019,2020 and 2022 will be held at the open-air theatre near Nay Pyi Taw City Hall on 6 May. The Fashion Awards will be rewarded to two males and two females who attend the event this year. — MNA/KTZH
