Monsoon tree planting ceremony held in Hinthada Township

A monsoon tree planting ceremony was held at Hinthada Golf Club in East Tagunding village in Kongyi village-tract in Hinthada Township on 28 May.

At the ceremony, Chairman of Hinthada District Administration Council U Myint Than Win gave opening remarks and an official from the District Department of Forest clarified the processes of Myanmar Reforestation and Rehabilitation Program. Then, the officials provided samplings of shady trees to the attendees. 

Afterwards, the officials planted the samplings at the designated areas. With the aims of balancing ecosystem and greening the environment, the Forest Department planted 1210 sampling of shady trees yesterday.
