Tatmadaw (Navy) transports supplies to people in Mocha-hit Rakhine State

THE Tatmadaw (Army, Navy and Air
Force) families, Myanmar Economic Corporation and Myanma Radio and Television
donated a total of 672 tonnes of foodstuffs, clothes, batteries, vehicles,
generators and cement for the Mocha victims and Pyitawaye II, the supply vessel
of the Tatmadaw (Navy), carrying the relief aid, left Yangon for Sittway
yesterday morning.
A 29-metre landing craft from the
Tatmadaw (Navy) transported relief items, foodstuffs and utensils weighing 54
tonnes from Sittway Port to MraukU Port.
The second landing craft
transported the relief goods, foodstuffs and rehabilitation items weighing 12
tonnes from Yaychanpyin Port to Rathedaung Port.
The third landing craft
transported 27 tonnes of timbers from Sittway Port to Rathedaung Port.
The last landing craft delivered
about of 35 tonnes of diesel, relief items, foodstuffs, consumer goods and
clothes from Sittway Port to MraukU Port yesterday afternoon. — MNA/KZW
