Strong winds damage five houses in Paukkaung Township

Five houses were damaged in Paukkaung Township of Bago Region when three villages and one ward in the township were hit by strong winds yesterday evening.

The houses were partially damaged as the roofs of the houses were flipped over by strong winds. The estimated damage to property destroyed by strong wind was Ks. 510000. 

Currently, officials from the Township Disaster Management Department and the Township General Administration Department are working to provide necessary assistance to victims of strong winds in the villages in the Township. But no casualties were reported in the incident.—Township (IPRD)
