Construction work of rural road in Loikaw Township completed 23%

Personnel from the Township Department of Rural Development inspected construction work of rural road in Yaynikan Village in Loikaw Township, Kayah State this morning.
During the inspection tour, staff led by Daw Ei Ei Khin, staff officer of the District DRD met with officials from the construction Company and instructed to meet the construction deadlines.
The construction work of rural road which is 20 miles and four furlong in length and 18 ft. in width, and eight bridges on the road have been implemented since the first week of June this year by a tender winning company with Ks. 221.26 million allocated by the state government and now, all the projects have been completed about 23 percent, according to an official from the Township Department of Rural Development.
Once completed, it will benefit 205 acres of farmland of local people from 243 households in the village in the Township.—Maung Khaing(DRD)
