Construction works of rural road in Paungde Township completed 40%

With the aim of ensuring swift flow of commodity and saving time and money, construction work of rural road has been implemented since the second week of June this year in Letpanpapyin Village in Paungde Township, Pyay District of Bago Region, and all the projects have been completed 40 percent so far, according to an official from the Township Department of Rural Development.

The gravel type road which is 4600 ft. in length, 14 ft. in width and 2 ft. in height is being constructed by a tender winning company with Ks. 59. 02 million of the Union funds for 2023-2024 FY.

Upon completion, it will benefit rural people from nearby village, helping them transport rural products to the markets in a timely manner.—Thura Kyi(IPRD)
