SPTT holds talks with NMSP delegation

 



 


 


A peace talk between the State Peace Talks Team-SPTT and the New Mon State Party-NMSP del­egation was held at the National Solidar­ity and Peacemaking Centre in Nay Pyi Taw yesterday morning.


Member of the State Administration Council Union Minister at the Union Government Office Chairman of the National Solidarity and Peacemaking Negotiation Com­mittee-NSPNC Peace Talks Team Leader Lt-Gen Yar Pyae warmly welcomed the peace del­egation of the New Mon State Party-NMSP.


After that, both sides negoti­ated the topics to be discussed in the dialogue and the peace talks continued.


The meeting was also at­tended by SAC member Lt-Gen Moe Myint Tun, NSPNC Secre­tary Lt-Gen Win Bo Shein and members, and Vice Chairman Nai Aung Min of the New Mon State Party-NMSP, members of the Central Executive Com­mittee Nai Banyar Lei and Nai Aung Manage.


During the talks, NSPNC Peace Talks Team Leader Lt- Gen Yar Pyae and Vice Chair­man Nai Aung Min of the New Mon State Party-NMSP extend­ed greetings.


Both sides mutually dis­cussed implementation of the previously agreed points and the attitudes of the New Mon State Party (NMSP) Central Commit­tee. The second day will continue on 6 July. — MNA/TS
