Union Industry Minister joins China-ASEAN Sub-Forum on NEV Industry Cooperation

 

Union Minister for Industry Dr Charlie Than and Myanmar del­egation members, who are join­ing the China-ASEAN Forum on Emerging Industry being held in Shenzhen, Guangdong Prov­ince, People’s Republic of Chi­na, attended the China-ASEAN Sub-Forum on NEV Industry Cooperation yesterday morning.

 

At the meeting, the Chi­na-ASEAN industry ministers discussed cooperation between themselves for creation of sound foundations for emerging indus­tries in developing countries, sharing knowledge for the safe use of charging stations for EVs and provision of good services in the manufacture and sale of elec­tric cars and the current manage­ment conditions for electric cars.

 

Those participants from the forum widely observed the pro­gress of developing long-term plans for electric vehicles (EV) in ASEAN countries, standing of the People’s Republic of China in the first position of exporting EVs across the world, construction of the charging stations, and charg­ing technologies. — MNA/KZW
