Drugs seized in Waw, Dagon Myothit(North) townships

A combined team comprising members of Anti-Drug Squad searched a TOYOTA PROBOX vehicle near Nyaungkhashi Village in Waw Township of Bago Region at about 3:30 pm on September 15 and seized 48,750 stimulant tablets.

In a similar incident, a combined team stopped and searched a WISH vehicle in Ward-27 in Dagon Myothit(North) Township of Yangon Region at about 2:30 pm on the same day and apprehended Nyein Khant Ko Ko, Zaw Tun, Ma Aye Zar Phyu Thein, Ma San San Oo and Ma Ei Shwe Sin along with 200,000 stimulant tablets.

The offenders have been prosecuted under the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Law. — MNA
