ASEAN navy chiefs, delegates arrive in Myanmar for 18th ASEAN Navy Chiefs’ Meeting

 

THE delegation led by Acting Commander of Royal Brunei Navy Captain Haji Mohamad Sarif Pudin Bin Matserudin, Deputy Commander Vice-Admiral Sam Sokha of Royal Cambodian Navy, Deputy Commander of the Vietnam People’s Navy Rear Admiral Pham Nhu Xuan, Deputy Chief of Staff of Lao People’s Army Maj-Gen Vanthong Bouttavong, Vice-Admiral Puchong Pradittheera of Royal Thai Navy, Captain Mohd Irwan bin Che Mohd Rani of Royal Malaysian Navy and Colonel Jose P Navarro of the Philippine Navy arrived at Nay Pyi Taw on 9 October evening to attend the 18^th ASEAN Navy Chiefs’ Meeting. They were welcomed by Chief of Staff (Navy) Rear-Admiral Aye Min Htwe, senior naval officials, and relevant officials at Nay Pyi Taw Airport. — MNA/KTZH
