Construction of water storage tank in Loilem Township completed 80%

With the aim of
ensuring drinking water in all seasons, officials from the Township Department
of Rural Development made a field trip to inspect the construction works of
water storage tanker, capable of storing 10000 gallons, in Wamlone Village in
Loilem Township of Southern Shan State this morning.
During the inspection
tour, officials led by U Thein Naing, head of Loilem District Department of
Rural Development meet with locals and members of village water supply
committee, and gave necessary instructions.
The concrete water
storage tank which is 20 ft. in length, 15 ft. in width and 6 ft. in height was
constructed by engineers from the Township DRD with fund of the regional
government in 2024-2025 FY. Now, all the projects have been completed 80%.
Once completion, the
tank will bring benefit to local people in the village in all seasons,
according to an official from the District Department of Rural
