Over 7,400 acres of vegetables to grow in Kanbalu Township in cold season

Local
farmers in Kanbalu Township of Sagaing Region are mainly engaged in
agricultural activities, and it is reported that 7,426 acres of vegetables are earmarked
to plant in this year's winter crop growing season.
In
order to achieve high yield, the Township Department of Agriculture is making
field trips and sharing knowledge on agricultural techniques such as good
quality seeds, systematic ways of planting and prevention of pest infestation
to farmers in the Township.
In
this year, a total of 7,426 acres of vegetables such as cauliflower, Chinese
kale, celery, conima leaves, mustard, tomato, radish, lady’s finger etc. are
targeted in Kanbalu Township, according to the Township Agriculture
