DTVET launches batch 21 welding course
DEPARTMENT of Technical and Vocational
Education and Training (DTVET) under the Ministry of Science and Technology
and PTTEP International Limited (Yangon branch) operating the Yadana Project
will conduct a 12- week welding course batch 12 starting from 17 March 2025 at
Yadana Welding Training Center (Aung San) on lower Mingaladon Road, Singu Ward,
Insein Township.
The number of trainees is limited to
only 15. The applicants who are 18-35 years old must pass elementary school
with a good understanding of basic English. They must be healthy enough to
join vocational training. Qualified applicants must take an interview to take
the welding course. Yadanar Project will fund a trainee K50,000 per month. It
will contribute K100,000 towards some expenses of personal protective equipment,
and the remaining cost needs to be borne by them.
Applications will be available at Yadana
Welding Training Centre (Aung San) from 24 February 2025. Interested
individuals can submit applications by 7 March 2025, along with two passport-sized
photos, a citizenship scrutiny card and an education certificate. They can
