90 teachers to teach students from Sagaing who will retake matriculation exam
A
total of 90 faculty members from universities and degree colleges will give a
camp training to the students from Sagaing of Sagaing Region who will retake
matriculation examination, according to Sagaing Region government.
The
teaching training camp is opened at the Sagaing University of Education for the
students from Sagaing to retake matriculation examination, and a total of 90 faculty
members from Yangon University, Dagon University, Sagaing University of Education,
Sagaing University and Sagaing Education Degree College will provide a close
teaching to those students.
Out
of 90 faculty members, 53 teachers from Yangon University arrived in Sagaing
on the evening of 1 May. They were welcomed by the Sagaing Region Education
Officers, officials and students.
As
answer papers of students in the recent matriculation examination were damaged
in the event of Mandalay earthquake, more than 60,000 students from Sagaing and
Mandalay regions, Nay Pyi Taw Council Area and Kachin State need to retake the
examination.
The 2025 matriculation
examination will be held from 16 to 21 June. Some 200 exam centres have been
arranged for students, and the result from the matriculation examination held
in March and that of coming exam will be announced at the same time. — ASH/TTA
