Informative Talk on Scourge of Drugs Held in Kyaing Tong

An informative talk on the dangers of drug abuse was held at Kuanmun Post-Primary School in Kyaing Tong, Mongnai Township, Southern Shan State, at 10 a.m. on June 19.

At the event, U Sai Thiha Htun, Deputy Staff Officer from the Township Information and Public Relations Department, delivered an educational session to students. He explained the definition of drugs, their harmful side effects, and the devastating consequences of drug abuse, using real-life stories and examples to enhance understanding.

The discussion also covered different types and names of commonly abused drugs. Additionally, posters and photographs related to drug prevention were displayed to reinforce the message.— Ko Ko (IPRD)
