Mandalay Region Chief Minister receives UN Under- Secretary-General

MANDALAY Region Chief Minister U Myo Aung received United Nations Under-Secre­tary-General and Executive Director from UN Office for Project Services-UNOPS Mr Jorge Manuel Lopes Moreira Da Silva at the Regional Gov­ernment Office in Mandalay yesterday.

During the meeting, both sides cordially discussed cur­rent cooperation between My­anmar and the UN, the support provided with fund managed by UNOPS and further plans.

Also, present at the meet­ing were regional ministers, the deputy director-general of the Ministry of Investment and Foreign Economic Relations and officials. — MNA/KZL
