46757 acres of monsoon paddy cultivated in Paukkhaung Township

A total of 46757 acres of monsoon paddy have been cultivated in Paukkhaung Township, Pyay District, Bago Region.
The majority of rural populations in Paukkhaung Township are farmers and they cultivate various kinds of crops year-round with the water supply from Taung Nawin Dam. As of 20 August, the targeted acres of 46757 for monsoon paddy have been planted, according to the Township Department of Agriculture.
Officials from the Township Department is providing necessary machinery supports and best agricultural practices to the farmers to exceed the targeted cultivation and to achieve high yields.
