MoI Union Minister receives Myanmar-Thailand Friendship Association Chair

UNION Minister for Informa­tion U Maung Maung Ohn met U Tin Win (Retired Ambassador), Chairman of the Myanmar-Thai­land Friendship Association, and his delegation at the meeting hall of the Ministry of Information in Nay Pyi Taw yesterday afternoon.

 

During the meeting, they dis­cussed cooperation in the fields of economy, social affairs, education, health, and religion to strengthen Myanmar-Thailand friendship, support and care for Myanmar migrant workers in Thailand, voting in the multiparty demo­cratic general election, access to accurate information on the situation in Myanmar, and other measures to further enhance My­anmar-Thailand relations.

 

The meeting was attended by Deputy Minister U Ye Tint, the permanent secretary, other officials, and responsible person­nel from the Myanmar-Thailand Friendship Association. — MNA/ MKKS
