MoTC Dy Minister discusses digital collaboration
DEPUTY Minister for Transport and
Communications U Aung Kyaw Tun, accompanied by relevant officials, attended
the 2025 South and Southeast Asia Digital Cooperation Conference and Supply and
Demand Matchmaking Event for the Industry and Trade in Bangkok yesterday.
Speaking at the event, the deputy
minister said people can easily communicate with one another across the world
thanks to the benefits of the technology, enabling the creation of a better
digital future. Digital transformation will continue to evolve, and the
cooperation of government, private enterprises, social organizations, and the
public can bring success. Digital collaboration not only advances technological
development but also provides opportunities, fosters responsibility, promotes
accountability, and ensures equitable access. Myanmar is making efforts to meet
the country’s digital needs as much as possible in line with regional
development and progress.
The event was jointly organized by the
Yunnan Provincial government and Thailand’s Ministry of Digital Economy with
the assistance of UN agencies and the APT. The representatives from Yunnan
Province, South Asia and Southeast Asia discussed new opportunities, markets
and progress in regional digital cooperation. The experts from 12 countries
