2025 World Ozone Day Essay and Painting Competition Awards Presented in Kyaukse

 

Kyaukse, 16 September

An essay and painting competition themed "Protecting the Ozone Layer Through Science for a Better World" was held at the Community Center of the Kyaukse District Information and Public Relations Department in Mandalay Region, with the award ceremony taking place at 10:00 a.m. today.

 

U Myo Thiha, Deputy Director of the Kyaukse District Environmental Conservation Department, opened the event by explaining the purpose of the competition and the award ceremony. He also presented an educational video clip highlighting the significance of International Day for the Preservation of the Ozone Layer.

 

Following this, U Myo Thiha and other officials presented awards to 10 outstanding students, including first, second, and third prize winners, along with one special recognition and two consolation prize recipients. Informational pamphlets were also distributed to raise awareness about ozone layer protection.— Su Su Aye
