Funds for peanut cultivation disbursed in Magyibin village, Tatkon Tsp.

With the aims of rehabilitating
natural disaster-affected areas and building a strong and resilient community,
Tatkon Township Department of Rural Development disbursed funds of Rural
Business Fund (RBF) to local residents for peanut cultivation in Magyibin
village in Tatkon Township, Nay Pyi Taw on September 16.
First, an official from the Township
Department explained that the purpose of disbursing the funds of the project is
to provide necessary capital for SME entrepreneurs, agriculture and livestock
business people and to conduct livelihood activities in cooperation with a
team.
Then, a responsible person of the
project and staff clarified the interest rate, term and rules to be followed
when taking out the funds. In the village, there are four groups of peanut
cultivation and each group is disbursed K 7.5 million of fund of RBF at low
interest rate, according to an official from the Township Department.
