Beijing hosts seminar for ASEAN omnimedia editors and journalists
AN opening ceremony for the Seminar for
Omnimedia News Editors and Journalists from ASEAN Countries, organized by the
Ministry of Commerce of the People’s Republic of China (MOFCOM) with the
support of the China International Communications Group (CICG), was reportedly
held at the Beijing ZIYU Hotel in Beijing, China, at 9:30 am on 9 September.
The seminar is intended to promote
cultural exchange and friendly relations, as well as cooperation in various media-related
sectors between the People’s Republic of China and the regional ASEAN
countries. Through mutual discussions, it aims to foster the development of
regional countries, the human resource development of nations, and the
socioeconomic development.
”Seminar for Omnimedia Editors and
Journalists from ASEAN Countries,” scheduled to be held in Beijing, China, from
9 to 28 September, will include eleven thematic discussions and study tours to
significant sites for cultural exchange and experience. It is understood that
25 representatives from ASEAN countries, including five delegates from Myanmar,
