Cash aids provided to internally temporary displaced persons in the town of Katha

            A second day of cash aids providing ceremony to internally temporary displaced persons in the town of Katha was conducted at the City Hall in Katha, Sagaing Region on 12 September.

            At the ceremony, Chairman and members of District Management and Administration Committee gave K 40,000 per internally temporary displaced person for two months provided by the State. As of 11 September, a total of K 720 million of cash aids has been provided to 1,800 internally temporary displaced persons.

Arrangements are being made to provide cash aids to the remaining internally temporary displaced persons, according to the Township Management and Administration Committee.
