Collective Blood Donation Held in Lahsio Township

Lahsio, 18 September

In celebration of Myanmar Police Force Day, which falls on 1 October 2025, a collective blood donation event was held yesterday at the 500-bed People’s Hospital in Lahsio Township, northern Shan State.

A total of 40 donors, including police personnel, clerks, and family members of police officers donated blood to the hospital’s blood bank.

Police Major Thant Zin, Deputy Police Chief (Lahsio); Deputy Police Major Myint Aung, Chief of Lahsio District Police Station; the Commander of No. 6 Narcotics Control Police Division; Deputy Police Major Thet Htun, Lashio Township Police Commander; Police Captains Ye Win and Soe Naing from the Information Police Division; Police Captain Myo Htike of No. 24 Traffic Police Division (Lashio); and Deputy Police Captain Lin Lin Ko of No. 17 Crime Police Division attended the event and offered words of encouragement to the blood donors.—U Lu Maw (District IPRD)
