Emerald Green Project Loans Disbursed in Nyaung-U Township

Nyaung-U, 10 September

As part of efforts to boost family incomes and support village development, the first-ever loan disbursement under the Emerald Green Project was carried out this morning in West Phwa Saw Village, Nyaung-U Township, Mandalay Region.

The event began with an official from the Township Department of Rural Development explaining the objectives of the loan program, as well as the rules and regulations to be followed by members of the village Emerald Green Project committee.

Following the briefing, officials disbursed a total of Ks 29.7 million in loans to 109 local residents.—Ye Win Oo (Nyaung-U)
