Outstanding Students in 2025 Matriculation Exam Honored in Myingyan

A ceremony to honor outstanding students in the 2025 Matriculation Examination, sponsored by the Mandalay Region Government, was held today at 9:00 a.m. at Ayeyarwady Hall, No. 1 Basic Education High School in Myingyan District, Mandalay Region.

The event began with students from No. 1 Basic Education High School singing the Myanmar School Song, followed by an opening speech delivered by U Min Min Tun, Chairman of the Myingyan District Management and Administration Committee.

During the ceremony, a total of 31 students were recognized for their academic achievements. Among them, one student received four distinctions, one student earned three distinctions, seven students achieved two distinctions, and 22 students obtained one distinction. All honorees were presented with certificates of honor and cash awards. To conclude the event, students from the host school performed a traditional song.—Kyaw Swar (Myingyan)
