Officials Inspect Concrete Road Construction in Dedaye Township

Officials from the Township
Department of Rural Development conducted an inspection yesterday of an ongoing of concrete road construction
project between Tamatakaw and Toemyaung villages in Dedaye Township, Ayeyarwady
Region.
The project aims to improve the
socio-economic conditions of rural communities and facilitate better access to
markets for local goods.
The inter-village concrete
road—measuring 1,625 feet in length, 12 feet in width, and six inches in
thickness—is being constructed with a budget of Ks 150 million allocated from
the 2025–2026 fiscal year by the Department of Rural Development (DRD).
During the inspection, officials
met with project supervisors and emphasized the importance of maintaining
construction quality and meeting the scheduled timeline.
Once completed, the road is
expected to benefit residents of Tamatakaw Village Tract year-round, according
