TB screening conducted in Kyaythee Tsp.

            A tuberculosis (TB) screening event for local people in Kyaythee Township, Shan State (South) was conducted at Township Maternal and Child Welfare Medical Center on September 14.

            A medical team from Department of Anti-Tuberculosis in Taunggyi, Shan State led by Dr. Ei Ei Chaw provided TB diagnosis and health care services to the local residents with the joint cooperation of health care officials from the Township Department of Medical Services and Public Health Department, Township Women’s Affairs Association and Maternal and Child Welfare Association. 

            In the township, TB screening event continues until September 16 in respective wards and villages.
