Outstanding Students Honored in Dagon Myothit (South) Township

A ceremony to honor outstanding students who achieved high marks in the 2024–2025 matriculation examination was held this morning at Nawarat Hall, No. 2 Basic Education High School in Dagon Myothit (South), Yangon Region.

 

The event began at 8:30 am with an opening speech by U San Lwin, Chairman of the Township Management and Administration Committee. U San Lwin Tun, Deputy Officer from the District Education Office, then explained the purpose of the ceremony.

 

Officials presented certificates of honor and cash awards to the high-achieving students.

 

This year, 111 students from Dagon Myothit (South) passed with distinctions, including one student with six distinctions, four students with five distinctions, 13 students with three distinctions, 13 students with two distinctions and 52 students with one distinction.— Nay Myo Aung
