Outstanding Students of Agriculture Department Staff Receive Cash Awards

Kanbalu, 18 September

A ceremony honoring the outstanding children of Agriculture Department staff for the 2024–2025 academic year matriculation examination was held this morning at the District Agriculture Department office in Kanbalu Township, Sagaing Region.

At the event, Daw Hla Kyaing, Head of the District Agriculture Department, explained the purpose of the ceremony, followed by the presentation of cash awards. Ma Su Thazin Nwe, who earned two distinctions, delivered a thank-you speech on behalf of the honored students.

Among the four students who sat for the matriculation exam, three passed—one with three distinctions, one with two distinctions, and one with an ordinary pass. The Ministry of Agriculture, Livestock and Irrigation awarded a total of K780,000 to the outstanding students.— Aung Win Nyein (Kanbalu)
