Shan United and Dagon Star United extend winning runs in MNL

(MNL) Matchweek III concluded on 14 September, with defending champions Shan
United and Dagon Star United both continuing their winning form.

captain Nanda Kyaw converted a penalty in the 60th minute, before Jordan
Hamilton sealed the win with a third goal in the 90th minute.
Meanwhile, at Thuwunna Youth Training
Centre, Dagon Star United came from behind to beat Ayeyawady United 2-1,
extending their perfect start to three wins in a row and staying top of the
table. Ayeyawady took the lead in the 24th minute
through Wai Yan Tun, but Dagon Star responded with goals from Aung Thiha in the
47th minute and Suan
Lam Mang in the 65th.
