Yangon Airport to close nights for runway repairs

While the runway maintenance is in progress, the Yangon International Airport will be closed at night from midnight to 6 am for a temporary period, said Myanmar Airways International.

 

Due to the runway repair, the airport will be closed from 29 October 2025 to 1 January 2026, and some MAI’s flight schedules will be changed too.

 

MAI has announced that its flight schedules have been changed due to the maintenance project, and urged passengers to re-check the updated schedules before boarding and make other necessary arrangements for transits.
