Operation of MEVM demonstrated in Ye Township
A mass meeting in conjunction with a
demonstration on operating the Myanmar Electronic Voting Machine took place at
the monastery in Apawseik Village of Ye Township, Mon State, on 17 November.
Acting Ye Station commander Lt-Col
Khaing Zaw made an opening speech while Ye District Management and Administration
Committee, District Administrator U Htein Soe explained regional development
measures.
Ye Township Election Officer U Aung Ko
Latt clarified work procedures in using the MEVM for the voters to have smooth
and quick voting processes and electoral measures. The District Administrator
replied to queries on regional development raised by rural people.
Later, the demonstration on operating
the MEVM followed. It was also attended by township authorities, members of
