Tatmadaw ships continue medical services in Wakema
TATMADAW Naval Hospital Ships named Shwe
Puzun and Saku provided healthcare services to locals in Kanasogon village in
Wakema Township yesterday. During the healthcare programme, the medical team
provided healthcare to 615 locals.
The treatments included general medical
consultations for 262 patients, surgical care for 34 patients, obstetric and
gynaecological care for 43 patients, paediatric treatments for 49 children,
orthopaedic care for 70 patients, ear, nose, and throat treatment for 46
patients, ophthalmology services for 59 patients, and dental care for 52
patients.
Moreover, eight patients underwent
general surgery, six received eye surgery, 37 had x-ray examinations, 50 were
tested using ultrasound, eight underwent ECG heart screenings, and 49 had laboratory
