Strong sales continue as 695 Group C jade lots sold at 60th Myanma Gems Emporium
THE eighth day of the 60th Myanma
Gems Emporium was held yesterday morning at the Maniyadana Jade Hall in Nay
Pyi Taw. Local and foreign gem dealers viewed the display of Group C jade
pieces at designated areas outside the hall.
At yesterday’s emporium, 695 of the 750

tender system. Merchants were permitted to inspect Group C jade lots numbered
3651 to 4400 and submit their proposed prices into the respective tender
boxes. Officials reviewed these proposals yesterday evening, and the results
will be announced on the morning of 25 November.
Yesterday evening, Union Minister for
Natural Resources and Environmental Conservation and Chairman of the Central
Committee of the Myanma Gems Emporium U Khin Maung Yi, inspected the
tender-opening process and gave necessary instructions to officials. Sales of
the Group C jade lots will continue until 26 November. — MNA/ MKKS
