Yangon Region clears K9.8B in hotel investments, creating 223 jobs

THE Yangon Region Tourism Committee has approved ho­tel investment projects worth K9.878 billion, which are expect­ed to create 223 job opportuni­ties, according to the commit­tee’s meeting 3/2025.

 

“Among the approved pro­jects are two hotel construction permits, three hotel business licences, 40 tour operator licenc­es, and 11 domestic pilgrimage and travel service licences,” said an official from the Region­al Tourism Committee. — ASH/ MKKS
