Amateur Open 2025 tees off in Mandalay
UNDER
the guidance of the Myanmar Golf Federation, the Upper Myanmar Golf Association
Sub-Committee opened the Amateur Open 2025 tournament with its first-day
matches and an opening ceremony on the morning of 2 December at the Shwe Mann
Taung Golf Course in Mandalay. Officials from the Myanmar Golf Federation, the
Upper Myanmar Golf Association Sub-Committee, and the Shwe Mann Taung Golf
Course, as well as competing golfers and guests, attended the event.
At
the opening ceremony, Myanmar Golf Federation President U Ko Ko Aye and
officials struck ceremonial tee shots and launched the tournament, followed by
the first-day 18-hole competition.
A
total of 288 golfers are competing, including 208 men and 80 women in the
amateur category. The tournament will run for three days from 2 to 4 December.
