Pakistan's services exports rise 17.6 pct in October
Pakistan's exports of
services rose to nearly 826 million U.S. dollars in October 2025, up 17.6
percent compared with the same month last year, according to data released by
the Pakistan Bureau of Statistics.
Imports of services
during the month reached 1.05 billion dollars, marking a 12.8 percent increase
year on year. The services trade deficit was recorded at 224.8 million dollars,
slightly lower than in October 2024.
Month-on-month, exports
increased 2.45 percent, while imports rose 3.97 percent, slightly widening the
monthly deficit.
Cumulative data for
July-October 2025 show services exports of 3.03 billion dollars, up 15.95
percent from the same period last year. Imports during this period reached 4.2
billion dollars, rising 12 percent, leaving a cumulative trade deficit of 1.16
billion dollars, according to data from the bureau.
