Deputy Minister leads visit to Liuzhou Industrial Museum, Liu Gong Factory

A Myanmar delegation led by Dr Aung Zeya, Chairman of the Research Devel­opment and Technology Dissemination Committee on Electric Vehicle and Re­lated Equipment and Deputy Minister for Science and Technology, visited the Liuzhou Industrial Museum yesterday afternoon.

 

Upon their arrival, the museum su­pervisor, Ms Cai Wen, and other officials explained that the museum has con­tinued producing household electrical appliances and industrial products since the country’s first car was manufac­tured in 1982. She also highlighted the success of the business, its production of electric vehicles, and its current in­volvement in environmental protection activities, responding to questions from the Deputy minister and his delegation.

 

The deputy minister and his team then visited Liu Gong Group, a man­ufacturer of heavy-duty commercial vehicles. Senior Director Ms Xiang Lin gave them a tour of the production plant and the Kui Gong R&D Centre, dur­ing which the Deputy minister asked questions and exchanged souvenirs. — MNA/MKKS
