MoH Union Minister receives UNFPA Representative to Myanmar
UNION Minister for Health Dr Thet Khaing
Win received Mr Jaime Nadal Roig, Representative of the United Nations
Population Fund (UNFPA) to Myanmar, in Nay Pyi Taw yesterday.
They exchanged views on the ongoing
collaboration between the Ministry and UNFPA in reproductive health care
services, efforts to prevent shortages of medicines and medical supplies,
UNFPA’s cooperation in the Ministry’s initiatives to reduce maternal mortality,
and the maternal and reproductive health care activities in 2026.
Also, present at the meeting were the
deputy minister for Health, representatives of UNFPA and other relevant
